FlyWithGeeks — Refund & Cancellation Policy
Effective Date: 14 Oct 2025
At FlyWithGeeks, we strive to deliver a transparent and customer-friendly refund and cancellation experience. This policy explains how cancellations and refunds are handled for flight bookings made through our platform. All refunds are subject to airline rules, third-party charges and applicable taxes.
1. Definitions
- Booking: A confirmed reservation made via FlyWithGeeks.
- Ticket: A valid airline ticket issued for travel.
- Cancellation: Formal termination of a booking before scheduled departure.
- No-show: Failure to board the flight without prior cancellation.
- Refund: Return of ticket fare (less deductions) to the original payment method.
2. General Rules
- All cancellations and refunds are governed by the airline’s fare rules and policies; FlyWithGeeks acts as a facilitator.
- Non-refundable or promotional fares may not permit refunds or may only offer credit per the airline.
- Refunds exclude non-refundable service fees, convenience fees, and third-party costs unless the airline authorizes otherwise.
- Taxes, airport fees and regulatory charges may be non-refundable depending on the airline or authority.
3. How to Cancel
You can cancel your booking by:
- Contacting FlyWithGeeks Customer Support with your booking reference and passenger details.
4. Cancellation Timeline & Fees
Fees and eligibility depend on airline fare rules. Typical scenarios:
| Scenario | Typical Outcome |
| Within 24 hours of booking (where applicable) |
Full refund may be available if flight is > 7–10 days away and airline policy allows. |
| After 24 hours / closer to departure |
Airline cancellation penalties & handling fees may apply; refund (if any) processed after airline approval. |
| Non-refundable / promotional fares |
Usually no refund; airline credit may be issued if permitted. |
| No-show |
Ticket is typically forfeited; refunds rarely granted unless airline policy allows. |
Note: The exact amount refundable (if any) will be the ticket value after deducting airline penalties, taxes not refundable, and FlyWithGeeks' service/processing fees where applicable.
5. Refund Procedure & Timeline
Once the airline confirms cancellation and refund amount, FlyWithGeeks will initiate refund to the original payment method. Estimated processing times are:
| Payment Method | Estimated Time |
| Credit / Debit Card | 7–21 business days (bank dependent) |
| Net Banking | 7–14 business days |
| Wallet / Virtual Account | 3–7 business days |
| Buy Now, Pay Later(BNPL) | ACH 5-10 Business Days |
6. Deductions
- Airline cancellation penalties, taxes and regulatory charges are deducted before refund issuance.
- FlyWithGeeks service fees, convenience fees and payment gateway charges are generally non-refundable unless specifically stated.
7. Changes & Rebookings
Change requests (date, time, routing) are processed based on the fare rules. Change fees and any fare difference will apply as per the airline. Contact support to request changes.
8. Airline Cancellations & Schedule Changes
If the airline cancels or materially changes the flight schedule, you may be eligible for a full refund or re-routing. FlyWithGeeks will notify affected passengers and assist with alternatives.
9. Force Majeure
For events beyond control (natural disasters, government restrictions, strikes), airline policies determine refunds. FlyWithGeeks will assist with claims but is not responsible for third-party decisions.
10. Disputes & Escalation
If you disagree with our decision, raise an escalation with our support team; we will review your case. Final resolution may be subject to the airline’s ruling or applicable law.
FlyWithGeeks reserves the right to modify this policy at any time. Changes apply prospectively to new bookings. Please review this page periodically. This policy is a summary and does not supersede the airline’s fare rules. For legal advice, consult an attorney.
